Clear expectations protect everyone.
The purpose of our Behavior Policy is to set clear expectations that foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where every participant can grow, learn, and build positive connections. It is not about catching young men doing wrong. It is about making the standard plain so they can rise to it.
Three things we ask of every young man.
Show Respect
Treat peers, mentors, staff, and guests with respect at all times. Respect the personal space, property, and opinions of others.
Demonstrate Integrity
Be honest and take responsibility for your actions. Represent Omega League with pride and dignity in public and private settings.
Practice Self-Discipline
Arrive on time, dress appropriately, and participate in all scheduled activities. Stay focused and avoid disruptive behavior.
A fair, step-by-step response.
On a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Omega League, violations are addressed through one or more of the following, always with the young man’s growth in mind:
The first step is always a conversation. We name the issue and help correct it.
Families are partners. If a pattern develops, we bring you in early.
A structured plan that may include a mental health evaluation by a licensed physician and/or behavioral health therapist, so we address root causes, not just symptoms.
Reserved for when other steps have not resolved the concern.
Some things end participation immediately.
To keep every young man safe, the following result in immediate suspension or dismissal from Omega League:
- Failure to comply with the disciplinary steps above.
- Physical assault or threats of violence.
- Bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
- Possession of weapons or illegal substances.
- Theft or vandalism.
Mentorship works best with the whole family.
We believe mentorship is strongest when it involves the entire family. Parental engagement is essential, and all mentor-mentee communication takes place with parent or guardian awareness and approval.
Every young man completes an application, and we talk with him and his family before a match is made. He is then matched with a mentor who knows him by name and stays with him through the program. You will always know who your son is working with and what he is working on.
Consistent attendance at the second-Saturday sessions across both semesters (February to May and September to December), open communication with your son’s mentor, and a shared commitment to the standards on this page. Sign the behavior agreement together, and revisit it when you need to.

Disciplinary Action
On a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Omega League, violations of this policy will be addressed through one or more of the following actions:
- Verbal warning and coaching.
- Parent/guardian notification.
- Behavior improvement plan, to include a mental health evaluation by a licensed physician and/or behavioral health therapist.
- Suspension or dismissal from Omega League.
Zero Tolerance Policy
The following actions will result in immediate suspension or dismissal from Omega League:
- Failure to comply with the above disciplinary actions.
- Physical assault or threats of violence.
- Bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
- Possession of weapons or illegal substances.
- Theft or vandalism.
